The great people at Illinois Trophy Bowhunting offered me an experience I will never forget.  No other place I have been fortunate enough to visit across the country was like it.  I would highly recommend anyone who has never been to Illinois that likes deer hunting to try a hunt here.

From the time of arrival to departure I received nothing but the best from camaraderie to comfort.  I had an opportunity to converse with the most down to earth nicest people I have had an opportunity to share time with.  I had multiple opportunities to harvest Deer larger than anything I have harvested in the South.  If you have never experienced it, you will know on the first day that you have just put yourself on a new level.

The first evening hunt I went on I spotted what I know to this day was a 170+ Pope and Young buck in a bean field near my stand.  I saw more racked deer the first day than an average 2 months of hunting my usual areas. It was an awesome 5 days of hunting, and an experience of a lifetime.

I have been hunting in the southeast my whole life, but I have never seen many good bucks, and have never experienced a full blown rut. It just seems to be difficult to pinpoint the rut here, where there are not many dominant bucks.

For the last three years I have hunted in  Schuyler County Illinois. It is the difference between  daylight and dark. I have seen more bucks in one week, in Illinois, than I would see all year long in Alabama. The rut activity is unbelievable. And much more predictable, in my opinion , than in the southeast. I have sat all day in Alabama without seeing a deer, much less a shooter buck. In Illinois I have never had a hunt without seeing deer, and the majority of the hunts produce  multiple buck sighting

The best way to become a better hunter is to spend time in the woods and observe deer activity. You will be amazed at the knowledge you will acquired when  you see buck after buck, in full rut, running does. ,  I would rather hunt one week in Illinois, than every weekend in Alabama.

If you want to be spoiled, do yourself a favor and plan a week trip. You won’t regret it

I HAVE HUNTED ALL OVER AND THERE IS NOT MANY PLACES THAT WILL COMPARE  WITH ILLINOIS DEER HUNTING.    I WENT ON A HUNT WITH ILLINOIS TROPHY  BOWHUNTING  AND SAW SOME VERY GOOD BUCKS .

I  MISSED A 150 CLASS 8 POINT WHILE HUNTING THERE.   I STILL I HAD A VERY GOOD HUNT JUST BEING THERE IN ILL. WHERE THE BIG BUCKS ARE WAS A BLAST.

IF YOU EVER WANT TO TAKE A HUNT WHERE THE TROPHYS ARE YOU NEED TO GO WITH THE GUYS AT ILLINOIS-TROPHY-BOWHUNTING THEY WILL TREAT YOU WRIGHT.
